It is super frustrating when a system doesn't acknowledge the problem is on their end. Amazon did this to everyone with their status page suggesting they were fine, but half the web went down, now one of my client's phones won't connect, and they insist they need to remote into the computers to know why.

A single amazon region going down should have zero effect on anything.
If it does, lots of folks fked up.
