Kitten update: she has taken to coming into my office and yelling until I pet her; I think I have been accepted.
She's also taken to perching on my bookshelf, which I didn't know until she death-from-aboved from the bookshelf to my laptop keyboard mid-standup call.

@LexPendragon ...and she landed *right* in front of my camera, so if anybody in the office was watching the screen they got a faceful of kitty butthole.
