So, OpenSUSE 15.4 has Python 3.6, and I need 3.7. I don't see it in any of the build services. Any idea where I can get it or upgrade 3.6 easily to it?

So, @OpenSUSE Leap 15.4 doesn't load out of my docking station, it just finishes the boot sequence and sits there. I've messed with it a ton, so I am just going to reformat with Tumbleweed to see if that's any better.

I also think I am going to drop the swap. I had been adhering to the old concept of 'Double your RAM in swap space,' but I have 64 GB of RAM now. Double that is absurd. So, I am going back down to 2GB like the docs suggest and OpenSUSE defaults to.

(Opinions welcome!)

I want a Dark Dungeons coven master screen.

As you know, the italic *have* indicates that suicide after character death is an optional rule.

Also, Marcie had sweet posters (Brom's Death Dealer? Or D&D's ripoff Warduke?) & minis, and is that a plush dragon or giant mini?

To all my esoterically inclined friends (and everyone else, too:)

Happy Summer Solstice!!

What If - Miles Morales needs to butt up against the Spider-Gwen - Gwenverse and to give us an Avengorales vs. Gwen-avengers story.

Since my wife quit drinking, my eldest daughter moved out, then the COVID lockdown made all my local social relationships dry up, I realized I am now George Thorogood:

So, @Chance was down while the power was out, in case anyone wondered where I was.

(Given that I can be silent for days at a time, I really hope you weren't wondering where I was, that'd be super weird.)

Hey, Fediverse...

You guys are great and are doing what I wanted from Social Media, without the drama and crap that I get from anywhere else.

I find it so weird that Star Trek's Brannon Braga is also a showrunner on The Orville.

A typo change USA to USB. I like this as though the world of technology, the dream of the internet (that tends to embody) is what they really wanted the United States to be.

So the United States was the alpha, and we're trying again with technology.

We tried USA,
We refined it to USB.
US 1.0 should be amazing!

So, I heard that the national bird of the US (currently the Bald Eagle) was originally argued against for the turkey. I think a turkey would have been better, they are ground level, everyone has access to find one, and they are very common (at least here in the north east.)

I guess I just like the idea of the USA being represented by 'the common, everyday, useful' rather than the 'dumb, rare, elitist' type of item.

Something about Steve Rogers crushing on Eleanor Roosevelt really makes me smile.

Captain America - Sentinel of Liberty #1

Spidercide adopts this look in Ben Reilly Spider-Man #5 (this week's issue.) Is it me, or is he copying the Renewing your Vows Spinnerette (Mary Jane) look?

Don’t spell part backward. It’s a trap.

Today just feels like a day where I am explaining my self to people who either should know better. I need to remember that naivete (not knowing something) isn't a crime, or even a bad thing. Even if it's easily solved. Ignorance (not knowing something even when already told otherwise, intentional naivete) is. I am not dealing with that today, just with random people who don't know this was dealt with somewhere else.
